There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

Request reason:
I was blocked because it appeared that I was a company or an org but I'm not. Gwoplock is the username I use for everything. If you look at facebook, twitter, even my github you will see that I am a person. ExOS is my personal OSS project. The edit that I made was in error and I never had the intention of making an ad out of wikipedia. Going forward I planning on working on the Exokernel page and improving the citations.

Request reason:
When I made the orriginal edit I did not realize that it was against wikipedia's rules. As I said I never had the intention of spamming links. All I was trying to do was provide quality content. I should have never made the edit that I did and I apologize for my error. Going forward if i get unblocked I would like to improve the Exokernel page's citations and information. I have in depth knowledge of that project since I am working on a project based on that. In fact right before I got this block I was already starting to improve the Exokernel page. There are other area's that I could also work on as I find them. Again I apologize for my edit and spam. Gwoplock 18:12, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
