There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block. To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. Requested username:

Request reason:

I apologize for not understanding the rules. I read a lot of them before sigining up but I'm very new. I do apologize. No promotion is intended, my sister is a singer and has music released. There was some tips on her distributor page that spoke of having a Wikipedia page, and I wanted to help her out, plus contribute to other things where I can. My name is Jimmy. I hope this meets the standards. Have a great night! Entiverse (talk) 02:25, 1 May 2020 (UTC)

Decline reason:

The proposed new username is acceptable. However, the other elements of the block still need to be addressed. You will not be unblocked until: If you have no interest in editing Wikipedia beyond writing about your sister, then you will not be unblocked. If this is the case, I recommend you consider alternative outlets. Yunshui  23:43, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock discussion

[edit]

The content of your user page seems at variance to your claim to just be helping out your sister. Could you elaborate upon the statement, "this page is used by her family and trusted associates, mainly brothers Jimmy and Corey. We will be creating pages as needed for the brands and individuals represented"? ANd, yes many SEO's have recognized the benefits of having an article on Wikipedia. But WIkipedia is not a promotional venue. It is an encyclopedia. Subjects of articles must meet notability guidlines.

You wrote about people using this account. Any user account should represent an individual and not a group. You would need to decide on just one person to use this account. --Deep fried okra User talk:Deepfriedokra 02:49, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That doesn't make sense and I explained thoroughly, but I'll try to explain it in a different way since you didn't understand the first time.

I, Jimmy, along with others, including my brother Corey, decided we wanted to help do what we could to get things going for my sister as a notable person. She has released original music on Spotify, Google Play, Tidal, etc., has over 20k followers online as of today's date, has several paid subscribers for her content creation on Onlyfans, and is one of the only transgender women as well as trans people in general to achieve this kind of success from Hyden, KY. Now, after I was banned and explained the rules, I told you that I (the Jimmy mentioned on the profile) would be taking over the account as the single owner. The "brands" I am talking about is my sisters brand "the Godess", which is her stage name, and "Entiverse", which is the label she is releasing music under via Tunecore. So, if this hasn't cleared it up enough you can go ahead and remove my profile entirely, because this explains it all crystal clear. I said "brand(s)" because my sister is known for her stage name as well as her brand name Entiverse (Entiverse Entertainment for the label as seen on her debut single "Worship Me".) Hope this helped you to understand everything.
