[edit]
Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because your account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Drmies (talk) 16:09, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello, I never had an account nor edited Wikipedia until today, and I now fully understand the policy on non-promotion and choosing a correct user name. I created the account to correct inaccurate information on the BROAD Sustainable Building page, but then I made two other edits to the "News" section continuing in the format established by other editors previously. I will be happy to delete those two additions and only keep the change I made to the previous "Franchise" section which was harmful to my company. I pledge to not make any further edits that are promotional in any way. I will change my user name as well.

Decline reason:

You won't be unblocked to write about this subject area. Yamla (talk) 12:48, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Due to the promotional nature of your edits and your conflict of interest, I think it will be best if you only discuss content and sourcing on the article's talk page. Please also read and heed WP:COI and WP:PAID. Thanks, -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 18:42, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, The Broad Sustainable Building article is not longer available, so I cannot access the Talk page of that article. I only opened my account today, the original article was the work of other people working over several years it appears. Can the article be restored and I will delete the two "News" entries I made right away. Thank you. JZmn1019 (talk) 01:24, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, if it's been delted, what other subjects would you want to edit about? -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 21:00, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I was hoping the page could be restored. I will be happy to remove my edits. Setting up the article was work done by other people, not affiliated with the company and not by myself. Is this possible? Warm regards. 2600:8801:B002:F100:5CED:FE0D:658C:8464 (talk) 23:29, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
(deep sigh) New article creation, and that's what this would entail, is very difficult. You would be better off gaining experience writing about other topics. (another sigh (it was years after my initial failures before I succeeded in new article creation.)) As this is now a redirect, you'd need to ask advice at the Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Help desk as to how to proceed. Recreation of the article will need to be via the WP:AFC process, and it would need vetting by the reviewers there. Now comes the hard part. The subject would need to meet the inclusion requirements at WP:NCORP as an entity independent of the parent group. That means lots of coverage by reliable sources unconnected with the subject. The subjects website would be unhelpful, as would any press releases. The help desk people can help you weed out sources that are unhelpful in building an article. This could be a difficult and vexing process that will try your patience. Hope this helps. Best, -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 10:22, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
