Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Jed martial arts, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://ijmaf.com/.

It is possible that the bot was mistaken and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jed martial arts requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.ijmaf.com/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Response to your deletion contestation

[edit]

Greetings. I see you've contested my deletion request on Jed martial arts saying that you own the content in question. If this is the case, you need to perform the steps described at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials to verify the ownerships. Fair warning, though, if the article topic doesn't meet WP:N it may be deleted regardless.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 14:57, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing, because this account has been used only for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to Wikipedia's content policy. Also, your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is against Wikipedia's policy: an account is for an individual, not a group. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a free advertising service.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of this page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:04, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

i just introduced a traditional martial arts base on my researches. just like page of Nearu,Kung Fu To'a and .... if you belive my account must be block, i ask you why the users of same pages like Nearu,Kung Fu To'a is active until now?!!!!!

Decline reason:

Please use {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} to request a new username. As for Nearu and Kung Fu To'a, a quick glance at the history does not how me any obviously problematic usernames, but if there are they can be reported at WP:UAA. You need to be concentrating on your own username for now and not worrying about others. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 08:47, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

No answer to Vanjagenije's questions for more than a week. Feel free to add another unblock request that adresses the points raised by Vanjagenije. Huon (talk) 13:38, 3 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • The username is not the only reason you were blocked (not even the main reason). As soon as you registered to Wikipedia, you created as many as two identical pages about "Jed martial arts" and also inserted "Jed" into the List of martial arts four times. Such editing, coupled with your username, shows that your main goal is to promote that martial art and the "International Jed Martial Arts Federation", which is contrary to Wikipedia's WP:SPAM policy about advertisement. But, even worse, the material you used for those articles was directly copied from www.ijmaf.com, and as such is copyrighted. Wikipedia does not allow copyrighted material (see: WP:COPYPASTE), as that is also against the law. On the talk page, you wrote that the article should not be deleted "because http://www.ijmaf.com/ is our web sites and all posts are ours". This shows that you do not understand the concept of copyright violation: even if you are the author of the said page, you have to sand permission before copying the content to Wikipedia (see: WP:DCM). Also, by saying "our web site", you imply that this account is not used by an individual, but by a group. You should understand that Wikipedia only allows individual accounts, and Shared accounts are forbidden. So, please, in order to be unblocked, answer those questions:
    • Do you understand conflict of interest?
    • Do you understand that to be considered for an encyclopedia article, the subject must be notable?
    • Do you agree that, if unblocked, you will use this account personally and not let other people use it?
    • Do you understand that, if unblocked and even if you change your username, you are not allowed to directly edit the pages within your conflict of interest?
    • What pages do you intend to edit if unblocked? Vanjagenije (talk) 23:06, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
