Request reason:

I understand that the updates made by me were not in line with the Wikipedia policy. I want to establish that it was my first time adding information to Wikipedia and I saw a lot of missing or outdated information about the company I work for. I only made an attempt to update that, might have copy pasted stuff from the company's website in the process but I received no compensation for the same. I did research my mistakes in the language and understood them. If unblocked, I intend to make honest contributions under my name and without the use of any marketing language as per Wikipedia's guidelines.

If you are saying that marketing/communications/public relations are not part of your job duties, nor have you been asked or will be asked to edit by your superiors, technically you don't need to make a paid disclosure, but you still need to make a conflict of interest disclosure. 331dot (talk) 21:28, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I reviewed the Wikipedia policy and would use {{request edit}} on the talk page to ask for changes.

Other than that I believe, I would stick to Articles of creation for getting peer reviews for my contribution as I am new anyway.

I mean this for wherever the Conflict of Interest is valid. The only reason, I made changes last time was because the data on the L-Acoustics page is wrong like they have more websites, the name of the company is actually "L-Acoustics, Inc." and "L-Acoustics" is the Brand, they have 700+ employees now, etc. I was in no way influenced or directed by anyone from my company or my job duty to make these changes.
