Hello, I'm I dream of horses. I wanted to let you know that one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Bostik— has been undone because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. The former username Publicactif2 was initially chosen so as to clarify that the user is a company (the name of the company is included in the username). I understand that both the username and part of the paid-contribution disclosure written on the user page "Public Actif is a digital and social media marketing agency based in Lyon, France. Public Actif is a service provider for the company Bostik and is paid to update the following Wikipedia articles about the company : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bostik and https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bostik. The effective start date of the contract between Public Actif and Bostik is June 14, 2020." is considered to be promotional. Therefore, the new username's paid-contribution disclosure should be "I am a service provider for the company Bostik and I am paid to update the following Wikipedia articles about the company : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bostik and https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bostik starting from June 14, 2020."

Decline reason:

Your proposed new username isn't much of an improvement, merely abbreviating your current name. Usernames must indicate that a specific individual is exclusively operating this account(your real name is not required). You also don't indicate what it is you will edit about as you won't be unblocked to edit about your company at least in the short term. Thank you for your detailed explanation and the proposed new username intends to indicate who exclusively operates this Wikipedia account at the company PublicActif (Sara). Regarding the intended edits on Wikpedia, those will indeed solely concern Bostik. The article's introduction and history section have already been edited (more details about the company's activity and history). Additionally, I had submitted a section with examples of products manufactured and distributed by the company (with secondary sources leading to media articles and products' patents), but I understand this edit was blocked as it was considered promotional.
