Measurements

[edit]

Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles. There is a Manual of Style that should be followed. Thank you.

Please stop your wholesale amendment of units of measurement, and refer to the conventions agreed in MOS:NUM. Jan1naD (talkcontrib) 13:33, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please heed what Jan1nad has written. On wikipedia, there is a Manual of Style that is followed across all articles. As such, units of measurement should be written as, for example, "96 kg" rather than "96kgs". Also may I ask what source you are using for the heights and weights you are inserting? Jenks24 (talk) 14:20, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop. There is no such measurement as kgs or cms. It is kg or cm. I also see no reason to change anything by a kg or cm or three. If you really think it's important, then at the same time stick a {{convert}} template on it to also show ft/in/lbs so that Yankees will know how big our players are.The-Pope (talk) 14:51, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

December 2010

[edit]

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Peter Bell (Australian footballer). Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. There is no such measurement as cms or kgs. The-Pope (talk) 14:55, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, you may be blocked from editing. Stop changing cm to cms and kg to kgs. It is incorrect. The-Pope (talk) 15:13, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning; the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Read centimetre and kilogram and see that cms and kgs are not used. You are making our articles look like amateurs. The-Pope (talk) 15:18, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

I have blocked this account temporarily because you have refused to acknowledge other editors who have objected to your editing here on your user talk page. Refusal to respond to questions or reasonable objections is disruptive. Please copy and paste this template: {{unblock|YOUR REASON HERE}} below, replacing the words "YOUR REASON HERE" with a reason to unblock you. In your reason, you should indicate that you have heard the objections of the people writing above. Please do not continue to commit the same actions over and over in the face of objections, instead discuss things with other people. --Jayron32 15:43, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

For evading your block and continuing with the same type of edits you have been warned about, I have reblocked your account for 1 week. Elockid (Talk) 16:12, 18 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
