userinfo.js

[edit]

Hi, PleaseStand. I hope everything is going well for you. As someone who doesn't know about technical matter, I tried to adaptation your userinfo.js page to a global version and hit the wall. Can you make this script in a way that adapts to a global script? My failure script is here. --Victor Trevor (talk) 14:00, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Victor Trevor, if you or PleaseStand are interested in any suggestions, I would really (really really really) love to have a link to Special:CentralAuth added. Usually, all I need is the information displayed, but sometimes I want to check whether the editor is more active elsewhere. WhatamIdoing (talk) 00:25, 9 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A-Z nav problems

[edit]

Hi, your gadget is coded in User:Dr. Blofeld/monobook.js but I have an A-Z article browser problem at the top of pages with arrows. The problem is that it is inconsistent, I'll click a few pages and the alpha order navigation stops. Problem exists on both PC and iPad. What could the issue be? ♦ Dr. Blofeld 17:43, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for taking so long to respond. I believe what you are seeing has to do with gapfilterredir=nonredirects and $wgMiserMode. gaplimit=2 is simply insufficient in this case. I started to work on a fix for my prevnext.js script but haven't finished it yet. I will let you know when I do. PleaseStand (talk) 04:32, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
