Hello, QrterLTD, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:QrterLTD, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:QrterLTD, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. [edit]
Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. JBW (talk) 11:11, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Dear JBW, I am sorry to voilate the policy from Wikipedia, I was not aware of the high promotional content I added, I would like to add a page for Clifton Hotels so we can speak about the history and philosophy of the company. Also to be more known in Bristol area and a place where people can check how the company has been depeloping. I would like to change my user name and I would like to edit the previous article but I'm not 100% sure how to do it.
Could you please guide me on this? QrterLTD (talk) 11:53, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I would like me new user name to be IRUIZ2024 QrterLTD (talk) 11:54, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You are lucky that I came back and checked this page, for a reason unconnected to your messages above; otherwise it is perfectly likely that nobody would ever have seen those messages. If you follow the instructions above on how to request an unblock, following the bold word Appeals, this page will be automatically added to a list of unblock requests, which is checked by administrators. Unfortunately, however, even then, you may have a long wait before your request is dealt with, as there's a very large backlog of pending requests. I also warn you that no administrator is going to unblock you so that you can cause your client's business "to be more known", which is to say to promote it. That is in fact the main reason for the block. If you would like to contribute to the encyclopaedia in other ways then by all means go ahead with requesting an unblock, but if you have no interest in editing for any purpose other than publicising your client then my advice is that your time will be better spent doing so elsewhere, because it isn't going to happen on Wikipedia.
I can change your username for you if you like. However, I have not yet done so, because once it is changed, if you try to log in under your old username, you will get a message telling you that the username or password is wrong, which might make you think that you have lost access to your account. You can in fact simply log in with the new username, and the same password as before, but I like to warn editors before changing the name, to avoid confusion. When you have read this message, post a message here telling me that you are ready for the name change to go ahead, if you still wish to after reading my advice above. In that message include both the text {{ping|JBW}} and ~~~~. I will then be automatically notified of your message. JBW (talk) 13:51, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi JBW, this is the first time I use Wikipedia to create or amend any article so it's nice to be able to speak with someone it can explain it more.
I will appeal the article with a encyclopedic view, I would like please to change the name and I will remember when login in the new user name thanks. QrterLTD (talk) 08:32, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
