A tag has been placed on Rahid Ulusel requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. June 2012

[edit]

Hello, Rahid Ulusel. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Rahid Ulusel, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.

[edit]

Please do not write an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Self-promotional article

[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, as you did at Rahid Ulusel, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. Wikipedia is not a medium for self-promotion. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:23, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

To second the comment above, the fact that you have successfully created self-promotion pages on the Wikipedias for Azerbaijan, France, Spain, Germany, and Russia does not mean you will be successful in doing so here on the English Wikipedia site— that your articles on those other sites have not yet been deleted is probably the result of lack of oversight, and is still completely inappropriate. The English Wikipedia community has been patient and polite with your insistence on self-promotion (you have apparently done nothing else in this Wikipedia or any other except write articles about yourself). The time has come to consider directing your energies elsewhere. Thank you. KDS4444Talk 22:27, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, thanks for email. You can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~. Please add your messages to the bottom of the talk page, or they may be overlooked. Please read the paragraph above. Since you have an obvious conflict of interest when it comes to editing articles about this subject, you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See alsoWikipedia:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest. Biographies need to provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. It is now wikipedia policy that biographical articles about living people must have independent verifiable references. As a matter of policy, all biographies of living people will be deleted if they do not have references. Articles must also be written in a non-promotional, neutral and encyclopaedic tone.
