Information icon Hello, I'm Gaia Octavia Agrippa. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to The Shawshank Redemption— because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 15:22, 28 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Movie plots

[edit]

Please stop re-writing film plot summaries that are already in a good state. It's not a good use of your time as your extended summaries are going to be deleted anyway. The consensus target length for a film's plot summary on Wikipedia is generally 400 to 700 words. Plot summaries should only cover the main plot points, not describe every single scene. You can read this - WP:FILMPLOT - for more information on agreed-upon standards for plot summaries. Any questions, you can respond here. --SubSeven (talk) 16:53, 28 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to The Holiday, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. —Laoris (talk) 19:13, 23 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to the Titanic (1997 film) plot summary have been removed because they added a significant amount of unnecessary detail. Please avoid excessive detail and high word counts when editing plot summaries/synopses. You may read the plot summary edit guides to learn more about contributing constructively to plot summaries/synopses. There are also specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -- DonIago (talk) 19:19, 23 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Film plots

You've been told several times about WP:FILMPLOT. Please stop expanding plots beyond 700 words. Also, please do not add unsourced production companies or distributors. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 21:51, 23 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Chad Michael Murray, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page House of Wax. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:40, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Per our WP:BLP policy, don't add something like this again. I've reverted you. Flyer22 Frozen (talk) 23:55, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
