[edit]Suggestion
[edit]See the draft for some sources I found based on a quick search. I suggest making the draft a biography about John Canning rather than company because what I am seeing so far, sources are more focused about him, his background and training, etc. The company can be minimally covered. - Hmm...actually the more I look at this, I'm not sure. I still think bit more about his background would be helpful given there are at least a couple great sources about him and I added Lenox Library and Taft Museum so take a look at those sources. I think part of the problem is you buried some of better sources in the list. I think if you move/copy the ones that are in-depth up to the main body and summarize a little of what they say, that will help a lot. Also, you can use the same source more multiple times so you can still leave it in the list. I also suggest adding dates to the list of work (date completed).
