Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, S53P4 bioactive glass, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Antimicrobial resistance, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Please stop inserting that content

Please stop including details about glass on so many pages until you answer whether you have a conflict of interest. If you continue to edit it is possible that you will be blocked by an admin. Your contributions could be useful but they need to be discussed on the talk page. PainProf (talk) 12:42, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi PainProf, thank you for your feedback. Is my username a problem? In that case, can I change it? I'll make a profile page and write the edits in Sandbox.

Your username could be a problem, don't make a new account but follow the instructions in the post above. You also need to declare if you have COI. PainProf (talk) 13:13, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi PainProf, I wrote a brief disclosure in my userpage. Is that enough?

sorry you could create a new account it might be better to just change username there are instructions above. Are you connected to the company? PainProf (talk) 13:16, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
ok therefore you cannot directly edit pages related to this. Please read the COI policies before making further edits. PainProf (talk) 13:18, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, ok I understand. I made a draft in Sandbox. Is that the way to go? Will someone automatically review it now? I write from a neutral standpoint and have proper references for all claims.

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. GeneralNotability (talk) 13:41, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Requested username:

Request reason:

I understand that the account was blocked because it seems it was used for advertising. However, no contributions to other articles have advertised a product of my employer (Bonalive® granules, Bonalive® putty, Bonalive® putty MIS). I only intend to contribute with facts about the bioactive glass composition S53P4. S53P4 is the chemical composition and general name of the glass, not the name of a product. All references used to cite properties of S53P4 shall come from scientific journals and publications, not e.g. the website of my employer. Please see the disclosure I intend to use from now on below.

Decline reason:

No thanks. If instead you wish to write about subject areas for which you have no conflict of interest, tell us what those are. Yamla (talk) 11:37, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, S53P4 bioactive glass. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Bonalive Biomaterials Ltd".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! Extraordinary Writ (talk) 17:15, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
