Worcester

Dear Simon, the edit I made to Worcester was perfectly valid. I am aware of the difference between a common noun and a proper noun. The title of the article is Worcester, not City of Worcester, so in the disambiguation line at the top, to say "This article is about the city of Worcester in England [...]" is syntactically equivalent to "This article is about the town of Evesham in England [...]". In neither case is "city" or "town" part of the name, so should not be capitalised. There is a difference here with, say, the City of Westminster, as that refers to the London borough; in that case "City" with a capital C is what is needed, because "City of Westminster" is a proper noun. Unless you're referring to the Local Government entity, the only proper noun in the phrase "[...] about the city of Worcester [...]" is "Worcester".

Secondly, the opening line that I wrote (and you reverted) was also correct. Again, because the article is about Worcester, it should begin "Worcester is a city in [...]". This rewrite was partially intended to avoid the debate about the first problem, so there was definitely no need to revert this. Please take care when using the undo button.

Hi. Please be careful about adding text such as "but there is speculation that the two people in question are Paddy Lowe..." without references to back it up. I'm no legal expert but I believe the allegation is about a criminal act and we really shouldn't be presenting names without a credible source to back it up.
