Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Request reason:

I did add a link to promote a business, I understand the rules now. However, there are other business that have links on the Tybee Island page. I thought I was showing the readers of the Encyclopedia that the Vacation Rental Industry has changed the way people vist Tybee Island, post resort era. The article goes in to detail about the resort era, but no literature on the current accomodations on Tybee Island. The Island is mainly focused on Tourism and it would be nice to inform your readers of the new Vacation Rental Industry on Tybee Island. I will not repost the link, and I do not expect you to either. Sorry.
