Freeview move

[edit]

Hi Thomas, I just noticed you moved History of Freeview UK to History of Freeview on the argument that Freeview is a UK only brand. Were you aware of Freeview (Australia) and Freeview (New Zealand) by any chance? I moved it back anyway as we need to differentiate between them. Paul MacDermott (talk) 14:44, 10 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, didn't know that.Thomas Blomberg (talk) 14:56, 10 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, easy mistake. I make loads of them myself, usually every time I edit on here! Paul MacDermott (talk) 15:21, 10 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Lucky Jim (1957 film) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Autopatrolled

[edit]

Hi Thomas Blomberg, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled right to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the patroller right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! ϢereSpielChequers 21:58, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your assistance on Champagne Charlie (1944 film). Since you seem to be familiar with the film, if you have time, could you trim the plot so that it is under 700 words, per WP:FILMPLOT? Also, could you make sure that, in the lede, the plot, and the cast list (all three places) it is clear that Joe Saunders became George Leybourne, and that Leybourne was not his birth name? Thanks very much again, Softlavender (talk) 04:31, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Did some work here.

Cedar Point

[edit]

Thomas, it looks like I may have somehow missed or forgot to reply to the message you left me a while back about an edit you made at Cedar Point. Apologize for that! It does appear that perhaps such a source may be acceptable, but I highly suggest starting a new discussion on the article's talk page. There are plenty of editors that watch that page, so I'm sure they'll be willing to weigh in. I think it would be best to establish consensus there, which may help it remain in the article long-term, or at least until a better source is found. --GoneIn60 (talk) 16:11, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A request to change the title and content of a comics article has begun at Talk:X-Men (film series)#Requested move 7 April 2017. Any interested WikiProject:Comics editor may comment there within one week. --Tenebrae (talk) 01:45, 8 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I noticed this edit of yours. My understanding is that né is the masculine form and our article seems to agree. Your edit changed "né" (the correct masculine form, as far as I know) to "née" (the incorrect feminine form, as far as I know, for this individual) and I'm trying to figure out why. --MZMcBride (talk) 01:58, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for noting that. A mistake when I wanted to link né. I've now corrected it. Thomas Blomberg (talk) 02:46, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome, thanks for the quick fix! I hadn't realized Mr. Beatty was born Beaty until today. Learning that "née" was correct would've been an even more remarkable discovery. ;-) --MZMcBride (talk) 03:23, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Adolf Fredericks mythical 14 "hetväggs"

[edit]

As far as I can tell, it was you who, in 2006, added a detail to Adolf Fredericks last supper, and indeed his infamous "hetvägg": That it was no less than 14 of them. No source given. This is a pure myth. It has now spread far and wide, no doubt in part due to this desinformation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hexmaster.se (talkcontribs) 14:41, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:The Tivoli Theatre London.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:The Tivoli Theatre London.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 2 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Daniel Levy (political analyst) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable political scientist, little evidence of notability, fails notability guidelines.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Invitation to participate in a research

[edit]

Hello,

The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of Wikipedians to better understand what draws administrators to contribute to Wikipedia, and what affects administrator retention. We will use this research to improve experiences for Wikipedians, and address common problems and needs. We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this anonymous survey.

You do not have to be an Administrator to participate.

The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement .

Please find our contact on the project Meta page if you have any questions or concerns.

Kind Regards,

WMF Research Team
