Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a few moments to create a new account with a username that represents only you. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may ask for a review of this username block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this message. Thank you. Request reason:

This username was created for use of the communications department at the UCLA Alumni Association in order to remove erroneously listed alumni who did not attend our university. As it will be utilized by 2 different people within our office, the username was created as such.

Decline reason:

Wikipedia does not allow sharing accounts between multiple users or the usage of an organization name as an account name company name. Accounts are strictly personal - if two people need Wikipedia access i am afraid there will have to be two individual accounts with a personal username.

I would also point out that we usually ask editors not to write or edit articles about subjects they are personally related to, such as their own company. Wikipedia strives to remain neutral in all of our articles, so that they may be easily used by our worldwide base of readers. When editing with a conflict of interest such as I just described, it can be very difficult not to introduce some sort of bias into the article, even if you don't intend to. Over the course of several years, we've noticed that articles about companies or products written by employees or owners of those companies tend to be heavily biased, some to the point they need to be deleted as outright advertising. So while it's not against our policies to write about your own company, we'd really really prefer you didn't. Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 22:32, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
