Hawkesbury

Hawkesbury is a pleasant small town situated on the Ottawa River near the Ontario-Quebec border about midway between Montreal and Ottawa. Both English and French are widely spoken here and there is a large francophone population. A bridge crosses the river to the town of Grenville, Quebec.
