Thank you for your contributions to this article. To make it easier for readers to find information in articles, Wikivoyage uses standard formatting in its articles. Some new editors have been using a variety of different styles, which makes Wikivoyage harder to read, and look like a random mess of information, instead of a travel guide.

  1. Times in Nigeria articles must be in this format: 9AM-noon, 2-6PM, 9PM-midnight.
  2. Days of the week are abbreviation like this: M Tu W Th F Sa Su.
  3. If a business is open every day, write "daily", instead of "M-Su".
  4. Phone numbers must be in this format: +234 700 5454 3663.
  5. In the Enugu article, we don't add "Enugu" in addresses -- that is obvious. And we don't include the post code, either.
  6. And don't type ALL IN CAPITAL CAPITAL LETTERS.

Please correct the formatting of the new information that you have added. Thank you. Ground Zero (talk) 12:09, 12 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Okay. Thank you for the clarification. I’d make necessary corrections. King ChristLike (talk) 16:18, 12 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. Also, please have a look at Wikivoyage:Don't tout for some important style considerations, make sure you're not quoting promotional language, and also keep in mind that this is a guide for individual travelers and we don't list online delivery services, distribution centres or wholesalers. I’ve noted these. Thank you Ikan. King ChristLike (talk) 06:58, 13 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Edit summaries

Heya, thanks for all your contributions so far! One thing, though: do you mind using more informative edit summaries than "added contribution"? Typically, such edit summaries (including "added content") tend to be used by vandals and since you're obviously here in good-faith, it'd be better to completely avoid using those edit summaries. In some instances, it's fine to not use an edit summary. --SHB2000 (t | c | m) 09:31, 17 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

So you say it’s best to not use an edit summary right? Alright, Thanks. King ChristLike (talk) 11:59, 17 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
No, what I'm saying is do use them, but no edit summary is preferable to "added contribution". Still try to explain what you're doing but more specifically (such as fixed typo, added price and the like). --SHB2000 (t | c | m) 12:16, 17 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
