English: The “Black Box” at Union City High School in Union City, New Jersey. The room, which is adjacent to the school auditorium’s second floor balcony, is used by theater students for guest lectures, and is an example of some of the advanced classes offered by the school, which can provide students with up to 15 college credits by the time they graduate.
Many thanks to Mayor Brian P. Stack, Superintendent of Schools Stanley Sanger, and Director of Facilities Frank Acinapura for arranging my private tours of the school, and to Head of Security Joey Orefice for conducting them personally.
