The history museum in South Bend, Indiana, reports that Eddy's 1835 medical school degree came from Jefferson College in Philly, not the University of Pennsylvania. I don't have access to the wiki sources. Can anyone weigh in from an alternate source? Thank you! 174.240.250.234 (talk) 21:41, 30 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
@174.240.250.234: This appears to be in error. Eddy is not listed as a graduate of Jefferson College between 1826 and 1857 here. The South Bend cite references "Jefferson College" and "Drs. Jackson and Hare" but neither are listed as faculty at Jefferson College here. I'm not sure on Dr. Jackson, but "Hare" seems to be Robert Hare (chemist) of the University of Pennsylvania, so I'm going to make that edit. I'm going to shoot a note to the History Museum at South Bend to start a dialogue, hopefully they'll make a fix, but this source is written in "stone" and will always be in error. --Engineerchange (talk) 04:25, 2 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
