This term crops up in several Wikipedia articles but isn't defined anywhere. There's a Wiktionary entry, taken from Encyclopedia Americana (1920). Could someone perhaps add something to this article to discuss this form? I came across it in the recent article on Minnie Byron. PamD 12:09, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
Different strokes of the slapstick
editI was unpleasantly surprised by the Eurocentrist exclusivity of this article. So many other forms exist in other cultures - it's essentially universal. 2600:1700:EA0:4B70:56C5:B55B:4C6C:9949 (talk) 23:45, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
