The subtitle above says it all. After all, the correct name is Curumbá, and there is only one city with that name in Brazil. --Wloveral (talk) 16:52, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Excuse me??? Where is this city called "Curumbá"? The municipality in Mato Grosso do Sul is listed by IBGE and by its Prefeitura Municipal as "Corumbá". The Quatro Rodas map has "Corumbá". Isn´t "Curumbá" only a graphic representation of how some people pronounce the name? Vogensen (talk) 06:26, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Amazing lack of most important information
editThis article about an important and quite-well known city is not only badly written from a language point of view (basic mistakes from a non-native English writer)but also confuses city with municipality, giving the reader the impression that Corumbá is only an urban area, when in fact the municipal area has more than 60,000 square kilometers, larger than many countries. There is amazingly no information on cattle raising, the greatest economic activity, which puts Corumbá in first place in Brazil with total number of cattle (more than one million), and possibly first place in the world. But there is no mention. Incredible. Vogensen (talk) 06:26, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
