"Hero of Canton" DVD Easter Egg
editI don't know if this belongs in the article or not, but for the curious, here are instructions on how to get to the easter egg on the DVD: http://www.eeggs.com/items/42488.html Ponder 13:01, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Lyrics to Song
editI'm still unfamiliar with much of WP, but I'm asking: are we not supposed to put in the lyrics to "The Ballad of Jayne Cobb" because of sort of copyright infringement or violation? Otherwise, I believe it would be great to include in the article. Mooyah 05:40, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed, the copyright violation is exactly why. EVula // talk // ☯ // 05:42, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
What about references to it? It has been recorded commercially by Bedlam Bards on their Firefly inspired album "On the Drift". (no response, please... if you want to add it, add it. I already have a large wiki network I edit on, this is just a bit of information for Wikipedian editors) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.63.165.28 (talk) 20:13, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
Actors in 24 and Firefly
editDaniel Bess plays the mudder who jumps in front of Jayne at the end. He played Rick Allen in season 1 of 24. He wasn't an antagonist in Firefly, but it still might be worth noting in the Trivia section, where it lists other actors who have appeared on 24 and Firefly.
- Actually, this is just engaging in a kind of Wikipedia version of Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. Nothing about this coincidental connection to 24 illuminates the article subject, even if it were a sourced analysis, which it isn't (and almost certainly couldn't be). I have therefore removed the whole trivia item. (And to head off the expected complaints that this is done elsewhere, I would point out that it should be deleted elsewhere as well. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collector of information, and trivia items should have some likelihood of providing sourced, meaningful information about the subject.) ~ Jeff Q (talk) 07:24, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
