National Historic Place

edit

The banner at the bottom of the article is for the wrong light. Needs to be corrected. 11:07, 9 April 2008 (UTC) Stan

Details of the building, equipment, etc.

edit

I don't have time to do this right now, but a description of the tower, the lenses and order of Fresnel lens -- original and any replacement, and that kind of data (See Terry Pepper and the Inventory links) would be standard fare for this kind of article, and I think of interest to some of our esteemed readers. If anybody has the time and inclination, this article can be improved substantially. 7&6=thirteen (talk) 18:45, 9 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is an unrated article for quality and importance.

edit

I would think it is START class. Can somebody take care of the banners, ratings, etc. 7&6=thirteen (talk) 16:12, 12 April 2008 (UTC) StanReply

Picture needed

edit

I think that this public domain picture would be a good addition opposite the external links. http://www.uscg.mil/hq/g-cp/history/WEBLIGHTHOUSES/roundislandStIgnace.JPG Anybody else agree and want to do that? 7&6=thirteen (talk) 21:11, 12 June 2008 (UTC) StanReply

edit

I recently removed a bit of the "External links" section per WP:EL. The following links I removed are from reliable sources, so they can be used to improve the content of the page and then be added to the references section.

Turn of the 19th Century picture

edit

We need this picture. Terry Pepper says "Photograph courtesy of Archives of Michigan". With a similar attribution, can we do this? Is there a way? Schooner and Round Island Light. 7&6=thirteen (talk) 18:01, 22 December 2009 (UTC) StanReply
