Fair use rationale for Image:Gamer's Cover.JPG
editImage:Gamer's Cover.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Relevance
editWhile reviewing the page here regarding The Gamers, I noticed a link to a Fellowship of the Dice. However, other than similar motiffs, the two films have nothing in common. What is the relevance of linking the other film in this one's article? Could we not simply create a new category along the lines of Tabletop Movies or some such, which center around the similar storytelling schemes, rather than link such films to each other's pages?
Thanks. -Emhilradim (talk) 10:24, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- The same people who made The Gamers (Dead Gentlemen Productions), are making Fellowship of the Dice, but the film's kinda been in limbo for a while now. It's kinda the unofficial sequel to the The Gamers. White_Bishop (talk) 17:56, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- Dead Gentlemen Productions had nothing to do with Fellowship of the Dice. They actually did make an official sequel to the Gamers title The Gamers: Dorkness Rising. The relationship between these three films is that they are related to table top gamer subculture. Emhilradim is right in that there should be a more general category for movies related to TT-RPG films. 71.36.204.207 (talk) 07:08, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
"Natural One" and "Humans & Households"
editWhat about those two (small) parts of The Gamers? Why are they not mentioned? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:7A:E06:1001:3044:D225:C2DD:75FF (talk) 09:30, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
- I've added descriptions of both "Natural One" and "Humans & Households". It would be great if someone could proof-read them, because English is not my native language. On top of that, since I'm a hardcore "Dead Gentlemen" fan, I can't really neutrally assess whether the information that I've added is relevant or if it goes into too much detail. Feedback on this would be appreciated.

New additions
editThere is another spinoff "The Gamers - The Shadow Menace" miniseries/movie/spinoff, and a fourth movie is told to come.
Oh, and imdb notesa separate "short" (originaly intended to be anafter-credits scene) titled "Gamers: To Be Continued". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:AB88:5183:2F80:4558:7305:9801:4AA8 (talk) 21:55, 5 February 2018 (UTC)
