Bold

edit

Please take a few minutes to review MOS:BOLD, the section of Wikipedia's manual of style about when to use bold format in articles. I've removed the incorrect applications of bold format that you added to French Southern and Antarctic Lands and Alaska. Hope that helps! Schazjmd (talk) 14:09, 8 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

More tips

edit

I reverted your edit to 1864–65 United States Senate elections and wanted to explain a few of the issues I've seen in your edits.

Don't use lists when the content can be written as paragraphs and don't number list items that are not part of a sequence (see MOS:LISTBULLET).

Please don't add unsourced content and don't remove existing references to sources.

"Here's what you should know", "here's what happened", and "now let's talk about" (all being followed by numbered lists) are examples of non-encyclopedic writing. Please don't address the reader in that way (see MOS:YOU and MOS:INSTRUCT).

Hope that helps! Schazjmd (talk) 14:21, 8 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
