On Draft Dev Dass Manandhar

edit

Hello and Namaste,

On https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Dev_Dass_Manandhar this draft article. In references cited Mr. Dev Dass Manandhar has authored / co-authored the Unicode Proposals.

On of those proposals has gone live with Unicode 9.0.

My point is that the references are not a passing mention since he has authored it and is a major contribution to Unicode helping save this ancient script.

Requesting approving the Draft on these grounds. Sodhancha (talk) 07:25, 21 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Sodhancha:, Sorry for late reply as I am currently busy in my personal work. Sorry to say that. To be honest, I will not accept any drafted articles upon individual request. I know that he (Dev Dass Manandhar) had made significant contributions in unicode but I didn't find any significant coverage about him and his work in reliable and independent sources. Best regards! On Draft : Ram Krishna Bantawa

edit

Hi,

For Draft:Ram Krishna Bantawa I have incorporated both online and offline sources for his work. The offline sources, which are from the Nepali newspapers Kantipur Post and Annapurna Post, have been sent to you via email. These sources cover information about the author, including his literary works such as "Shrill Mist" and "Aamalai Chitthi," as well as his contributions to Nepali literature during his time in Hong Kong.

Could you suggest any additional reliable or independent sources that I could provide? Rasilshrestha (talk) 12:31, 5 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
