Please refrain from adding self-published sources, such as the response by RKP, to the article for Revolutionary Communist International. As per the policy on self-published sources these are not allowable in instances where the source makes claims about third parties and is unduly self-serving which this source would clearly break. Surely it’s of editorial interest to note the organisation’s official response to these allegations? Its absence makes it look as though the RKP is ignoring them. It’s not self serving, it’s relevant information for readers. IambicMess (talk) 18:22, 4 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
At the very least the article should note the RKP denies the allegations - would you prefer it to be unsourced? IambicMess (talk) 18:24, 4 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
No, because there is no reliable source for this. And it does breach self-serving, because of course they're going to claim it's all lies, as well as making claims about others, given it attacks the newspaper. Rambling Rambler (talk) 18:53, 4 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
In that case I’ll cite the Magasinet Konkret article. It also notes the RKP’s denial, and actually agrees with its assessment that ETC and the social democratic paper has a political axe to grind. It’s presumably a good enough source, as it’s used elsewhere. IambicMess (talk) 19:13, 4 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
