Just a catalogue of lego sets, supported by fansites as sources. No notability whatsoever. Ajf773 (talk) 08:20, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Actually a lot lego sites get reviews in the news media. [1] [2] and other reliable sources give them significant coverage. Just Google news search for "lego" and "Star Wars" and you can find a lot of places to sort through. Some of the sets could have their own articles based on the coverage they get. Things on the list could have references added to reliable sources giving them significant coverage. But that'd be a lot of work and I doubt anyone wants to bother with it. I think your suggestion is rebutted by WP:NOTCATALOG Criteria #5: "Encyclopedic significance may be indicated if mainstream media sources (not just product reviews) provide commentary on these details instead of just passing mention." You'd have to show something more than just a product reviews how I interpret that. ValarianB (talk) 18:35, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete WP:NOTCATALOG. Lego Star Wars is where the notability is, it doesn't trickle down to individual playsets. ValarianB (talk) 18:35, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect to Lego_Star_Wars#Lego_sets. I entirely agree with the nominator and the comments above by ValarianB, but there seems to be a sensible enough target for redirection, and the potential to list any particularly significant sets at that location. I don't think a merge outcome is justified though as there is so little worth saving from the List article. Hugsyrup 11:38, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect to Lego Star Wars. 98% of the Star Wars sets get little to no independent coverage (though, this is still more coverage than any other Lego theme due to Star Wars). Per WP:CATALOGUE, I have redirected most of these in the past as a plausible search term. As there are literally hundreds of Star Wars sets, the list should only include notable ones at best, but prose describing some them is probably more than enough. There are WP:OTHERWIKIS that are better for these sorts of product catalogues (Brickipedia in this case). Yosemiter (talk) 14:15, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
