I was born on July 22,1988 on the CFB Cold Lake Air Force garrison in northern Alberta, Canada. Developing what was considered extraordinary intelligence for a kid my age (by which I mean: I could speak at 6 months and read stuff by my own at two), I've been encouraged into expanding my knowledge by my parents from a VERY young age. By 1990, we moved to Quebec City, Quebec and I spent the following years feeding on encyclopedias and other tomes of knowledge. I skipped from the first grade to the second after a month of clearing every activity of the normal cursus by my own. From then, I spent my time being the usual bookworm, and learning normally with people my caliber. I also started to learn english at the same time, at age 6. Until I got to my 17 years, there's nothing too special to brag about. I was the normal dropout. Got pushed too hard too young and got fed up with rational studies. I turned myself (well, mostly I took refuge in...) arts. Music, photography, cinema, poetry, literature, and others. I took interest in history also, leading to my being interested in the history of the arts.
I started singing at a relatively young age, and for as far as I can remember it has always been a passion and a goal I've set myself. I joined a now-defunct Symphonic Power Metal band called WinterStorm, which actually became the training grounds and starting point of four local bands, who are now enjoying relative "interesting newcomers"' success. I took an interest in Metalcore and Melodic Death Metal at this time, and in late 2006 I joined my current band Worth Dying For, which is a up-and-coming band of the area. I started fucking around Wikipedia at the same time, destroying articles with my lack of "Wiki-knowledge", if we can logically call it that. I joined as an official member in 2006, and decided to take a serious interest in helping in mid-2007.
I have one brother, an estranged father and a cool mother who have been, of course, divorced for almost a decade now. I am also engaged to my first and only girlfriend, which I met in late 2005. I also have two cats, one who's named Cambria and the one who's named Dahlia.
- My favorite band is Dream Theater.
- I can't stand Gangsta rap
- I was once adopting the hip-hop style.
- I don't care much about aligning with one specific style of metal, like it seems to be the trend nowadays.
- I really have copied and pasted an artist info page for creating my User Page. First, because I thought it was funny and in the context of me being a musician. Second, because I don't know shit about formatting.
I literally fell in love with Wikipedia's userbox concept. I even decided to start a "collection" of every userbox I can find that relates to me !!! So if you want to know about me, 'tis the best place ! ;)
