Hi there 👋

My name is Everton, and it's a pleasure to meet you 😀.

  • 👨‍💻 Sênior Software Engineer @ Coinbase

👱‍♂️ About Me

With over a decade of experience in the software industry, I have honed my skills as both a Software Engineer and a Data Scientist. Throughout my career, I have contributed to various projects across different teams and companies, gaining extensive experience in working with distributed teams and excelling under work pressure while fostering effective teamwork.

My technical expertise includes:

  • Programming Languages: GoLang, Python, Node.js/Typescript (Advanced), and I also worked with Ruby and PHP;
  • Development and Architecture: Building Web Crawlers, REST APIs, Backend Services, Scripts, Microservices;
  • Cloud Platforms: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Heroku, Linode and others;
  • CI-CD: GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins, and others;
  • Infrastructure: Serverless, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, linux;
  • Observability: DataDog, Grafana + Prometheus, and others;
  • Stream: Kafka, RabbitMQ, SNS, Redis, NATS;
  • Expertise in front-end: react, react native, and a bit of angular and vue.js (front-end is not my focus, but I know how to handle problems, and when necessary change/improve front end);

I am a strong proponent of the philosophy: "You build it, you deploy it, you maintain it," which underscores my commitment to end-to-end project ownership and responsibility. My focus is consistently on problem-solving, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
