  • Show time tooltip while moving mouse across timeline
  • mouse drag to move the in/out cutpoint Feature request: use mouse drag to set the in/out cutpoint #517

    As one can easily click on a segment, is there need for the next/previous buttons under timeline? Or can those buttons be moved under the seek buttons, together with start/end set and Add new segment, like this

Show little thumbnail tooltip picture over the playhead while moving the mouse across the timeline

Is this only for hovering or also when moving the selection point? Right now, moving the selection does not update the preview synchronously for me (only after waiting for some delay time). This makes it pretty much impossible to conveniently find where to cut.

not sure what you mean by that. maybe you're referring to this issue? #1881

Could be the same, yes. However, for me the preview doesn't update at all, i.e. the preview only jumps to the new position after releasing the left/right key.
I'm probably using 3.55.1. Probably because the about does not open but it's the Flatpak so should be that version. Maybe a newer version will fix the issue.
