Toggl could seem like a cold and boring place (no hard feelings) - just black on white, with a little bit of pink. Presenting the information that you need to keep track of all the work you're doing. Hourly takes those boring long lists of information and combines them with something amazing. That's right. Hourly gives you the possibility to keep track of how much you can afford something you love. Like how many bottles of wine that shitty task you've been at all week has provided for you.
It's not only easy to use - but it's also lovely to look at. Hourly allows you not only to change your hourly rate - but also what the price of an item is. With icons from Line Awesome and eight items of choice:

You'll end up with something that makes Toggl a lot more than just a site where you enter your work tasks.
We'll - the first thing that you'll have to know is the fact that Hourly currently only works with the Time Tracking software Toggl. The second thing you'll have to do is install the extension from the Chrome Web Store. And yes - it's currently just supported at the Chrome Web Store. One shop stop only. Input your hourly rate, the item you'd like to track, and the price of that item. Just like this - and you should be ready to go!
You can see the popup that is used for configuring Hourly above - it's that little box that pops up whenever you click that little icon in Chrome. Filled with animations and other goodies. And for the actual Toggl entries? They look like this.
So - what does it really do?
- Shows you the sum of the number of items you've made per day.
- Shows you the sum of the number of items that you've made per task.
- Gives Toggl a more alive feel, with loads of animation.
- Also - doesn't it give you a real boost, knowing that the last task you completed just made you 13 brewskies richer? 🍻
