Ryzom Core is the open source framework for developing MMORPGs, built upon NeL, the Nevrax Library game engine, and published under the AGPLv3 license. Graphics, translations, and select leveldesign assets from the Ryzom game are available under both the CC-BY-SA 3.0 and Free Art License 1.3.
The Ryzom Core open-source community can be reached via IRC at #ryzom on FreeGameDev.net, or through the Ryzom Core Discord.
Support for the commercial Ryzom game operated by Winch Gate, as well as the Ryzom Forge team, can be reached through Ryzom.Chat.
- I'm going to make my own game. Using NeL, the Nevrax Library, as your game engine, will help you bring your imagination to life in no time! Except that last 1%, that's like 99% of the time.
- My next game will be an MMORPG! Enter the brave new world of Ryzom Core, and be overwhelmed by the possibilities and complexities of creating a massively populated world...
- I want to join an existing team. Find something you like? Have a chat with the folks around here, we're nice, promise!
- I'd like to work on the commercial Ryzom game. Please hold, while we transfer you to the Ryzom Forge.
