Age of Empires (בתרגום חופשי לעברית: עידן האימפריות) היא סדרת משחקי וידאו מסוג אסטרטגיה בזמן אמת שפותחה במקור על ידי חברת Ensemble Studios ופורסמה על ידי חברת Xbox Game Studios. המשחק הראשון בסדרה היה המשחק "Age of Empires" שיצא לשווקים בשנת 1997. לאורך השנים יצאו לשווקים בסך הכל תשעה משחקים בסדרה.
המשחק הראשון בסדרה מתרחש באירופה, אפריקה ואסיה בתקופות שונות בהיסטוריה - החל מתקופת האבן ועד תקופת הברזל. אחת מההרחבות למשחק הראשון התמקד גם בהיווצרות וההתרחבות של האימפריה הרומית. המשחק "Age of Empires II: Age of Kings" מתרחש בימי הביניים והוא הכיל הרחבה שהתמקדה בכיבוש הספרדי של האימפריה האצטקית. המשחק Age of Empires III התרחש בעת המודרנית המוקדמת, במהלך הקולוניזציה האירופית של אמריקה. משחק הספין-אוף, Age of Mythology, מתרחש באותה התקופה כמו המשחק המקורי בסדרה, אך התמקד באלמנטים שונים מהמיתולוגיה היוונית, המצרית והנורדית. המשחק הרביעי בסדרה, Age of Empires IV, יצא לשווקים ב-28 באוקטובר 2021, והתמקד גם הוא בתקופת ימי הביניים.
סדרת המשחקים זכתה להצלחה מסחרית ניכרת לאורך השנים והצליחה למכור מעל ל-25 מיליון עותקים של המשחקים השונים בסדרה.
