OIA fosters campus internationalization and serve as a central support, advisory, and information center for all students, faculty, and staff in the following areas:
Pre Arrival Orientation Saturday July 13, 2024
Welcome to North Carolina A&T State University
The Office of International Affairs (OIA) Pre-Arrival Orientation Zoom session is Mandatory. We will provide new incoming and transfer international students with information about arrival to campus, immigration requirements, insurance, billing/finances, campus resources, academics requirements, and success tools to help ease your transition to the university community.
All students will be sent an invitation Zoom session link. There will be two sessions (10am-12pm) and (2pm-4pm). You will receive the session time that has been chosen for you and registration is mandatory.
Please note: Once you arrive to the US and on campus you will have to attend an in-person Mandatory: New Student Orientation (International Immigrations Maintaining Status) session on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 10am in the Frye Bldg. (ACB) lobby. You will also have Mandatory Orientation session requirement with your academic department, or other university offices.

Upcoming Events - Fall 2024
New Student Orientation
The in-person orientation session will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the the Frye Bldg. (ACB) auditorium. Orientation is mandatory for new international students in F and J visa status. Critical information regarding academic standing requirements, immigration regulations, health insurance instructions, and OIA programs and services are discussed. The check-in process will take place at oritentation, if you have not already checked in with OIA. Please bring your I20,visa,I94, passport and US North Carolina Address.
Banking and cell phone companies will be in the reception area of the the Frye Bldg. (ACB) lobby from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. to assist students with opening accounts.

Welcome Reception
We invite our new international students and A&T campus community to join us for an evening of international cuisine, international games, and raffles from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the reception area of the the Frye Bldg. (ACB) lobby. Discover new cuisines, meet new people, and celebrate diverse cultures all under one roof.

Experience the thrill of competing in games from different corners of the globe from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the reception area of the the Frye Bldg. (ACB) lobby. Whether you're a seasoned player or a novice, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Expand your horizons, make new friends, and celebrate diversity with us at this engaging event. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
