The problem with the article (besides rewriting history to remove Free Software), is that Open Source often turns into single-vendor software too.

And what's worse, it is often the wrong vendor!

In [1], he refers to it as "getting Jeff'ed," a reference to Jeff Bezos.

In other words, Open Source lets dealers [2] eat the lunch of the original authors.

Even worse, dealers can often turn Open Source proprietary, actually proprietary, so end users are shafted too.
