Abstract
Arriba se han descrito métodos y sistemas para el procesamiento conjunto de aceite vegetal y diesel de petróleo para dar una composición de biocombustible diesel híbrido. Como se dijo antes, en algunas modalidades la presente invención va dirigida a métodos/sistemas en los cuales una mezcla de aceite vegetal y diesel de petróleo es procesada conjuntamente en dos etapas: La mezcla se somete primero a hidrotratamiento para dar un híbrido intermedio con menor cantidad de azufre y luego el híbrido intermedio es procesado en una unidad de isomerización para dar un producto diesel híbrido de bajo punto de enturbiamiento que es parcialmente derivado de la biomasa. Un notable beneficio de por lo menos algunos de esos métodos/sistemas es que no se requiere la remoción entre etapas de H2S y NH3 entre las etapas de hidrotratamiento e isomerización, en donde tal beneficio es otorgado por catalizadores de isomerización tolerantes al azufre y al nitrógeno.Methods and systems for the joint processing of vegetable oil and diesel oil to give a hybrid diesel biofuel composition have been described above. A notable benefit of at least some of those methods / systems is that removal between H2S and NH3 stages is not required between the hydrotreatment and isomerization stages, where such benefit is granted by sulfur and nitrogen tolerant isomerization catalysts. .
