Abstract

A cushioned opening guide for sliding parts of furniture, such as drawers or the like, comprising a fixed part (12) of the guide, limited to a piece of furniture (14) and a mobile part (13) of the guide, limited to a drawer (15), said fixed part (12) of the guide and said mobile part (13) of the guide producing as two pairs that can be placed on opposite sliding parts of the drawer (15), a sliding element similar to a cage (16) interposed between each fixed part (12) and each moving part (13), wherein said moving part (13) of the guide provides a molded back stop (22) that forms an end stop with the maximum opening of the drawer (15) with with respect to the furniture (14) in which near said molded back stop (22) the guide provides a cushion (23) that is yielding, is placed on said moving part (13) of the guide and, when the drawer is opened, acts on a back stop (24) of said cage-like sliding element (16), in which said damper (23) is inserted rta in a seat (21) produced near said molded rear stop (22) provided in the moving part of the guide (13), characterized in that said damper (23) comprises a central body (25) from which an end of hook (26) extends, which contacts a skirt (27) projecting upwardly from said seat (21) formed near said molded back stop (22) of the drawer (15).

DESCRIPTION

Gma damped opening for sliding parts of furniture, such as drawers or similar

The present invention relates to a damped aperture range for sliding parts of furniture, such as drawers or the like.

In recent years, there has been a continuous request for gmas in metal furniture, which in addition to working well, minimizes any problems related to noise or any other impact generated in the opening and closing phase of the element in which they are installed, such as for example a drawer.

An example of these accessories developed so far consists of a device to be applied to a gma, composed of a fixed part and a mobile part, which allows the drawer to open with a simple push.

Thus, when pressing the front of the drawer, the gma provided with this accessory must open the drawer at least partially automatically.

Also, again in the field of furniture, the gmas composed of a fixed part and a mobile part, equipped with deceleration devices, are known and used. These devices are provided to dampen the speed of the redproco moving furniture parts a moment before the complete closing of the mobile part thereof. This avoids both noise and impact and also prevents the latter from quickly causing the breakage of the gmas or elements connected to it.

An additional problem currently present in the ranges used is that, when it is in the opening phase, a drawer reaches the end stop where a mechanical specific end stop is provided, generating noise. This noise is usually due to the impact between the elements involved in this type of coupling.

Document DE 20 2007 014389 U1 discloses a gma for drawers composed of three sliding sections and provided with mechanical end stops with insertable ends.

In particular, document DE 202007014389 U1 discloses an extraction range for drawers with:

- a rail gma (2) subject to a furniture structure,

- a movable extraction rail (4) attached to the drawer,

- a central rail (3) between said gma rail (2) and said movable extraction rail (4),

elastic end stops (9, 10) being provided between said two rails, and said elastic end stop (9) provided in a groove (11) in the central rail (3).

WO 2014/056764 simply discloses a gma for sliding parts that provides three sliding sections equipped with integrally formed end stops.

In particular, while it has been previously mentioned how elements have been created and introduced that slow down any possible impact when a drawer is closed, thus making this coupling extremely silent, the elements that eliminate this inconvenience also when a drawer is opened, still do not They are present in the market.

There is therefore a continuous request from the market for an improved technology that can make the furniture manageable, in particular drawers, possibly introducing new solutions.

In this sense, many attempts have been made in recent years to find an appropriate and correct solution to the previous problems.

The general objective of the present invention is therefore to solve the drawbacks of the known technique indicated above in a particularly functional, economical and extremely simple manner.

A further objective of the present invention is to provide an opening range that is silent and free of violent impacts, for sliding parts of furniture, such as a drawer or the like, which can propose a suitable device for that purpose without introducing particular and costly modifications .

Another objective of the present invention is to find a particular solution that can be introduced without incurring significant expenses and complex modifications in the ranges.

In view of the above objectives, according to the present invention, a damped opening range for sliding parts of furniture such as drawers or the like has been conceived, with the features specified in the appended claims.

The functional and structural features of the present invention and their advantages with respect to the known technique will appear even more evident from the following description, in reference to the attached drawings, which among others show a scheme of an embodiment of a damped aperture shaft for sliding parts of furniture, such as drawers or the like, produced in accordance with the same invention. In the drawings:

- Figures 1 to 4 show four sectional views of one side of a cushioned opening aperture according to the present invention in four subsequent phases starting from the drawer in a closed position to a drawer in a fully open and extracted position;

- Figure 4a is a cross section of the crane according to the invention;

- Figure 5 is a particular enlarged sectional view of that shown in Figure 1 with the drawer in closed position; - Figure 6 is a particular enlarged sectional view of that shown in Figure 4 with the drawer in a completely open and extracted position;

- Figures 7 to 9 show perspective views of a terminal area of the mobile part of the crane alone in which a damper is placed in accordance with illustrated subsequent phases;

- Figure 10 is a perspective view of part of the crane according to the present invention showing the interaction between the damper, the sliding element similar to a cage and the fixed and mobile crane.

Referring to the figures, these illustrate, at least partially, a cushioned opening crane for sliding portions of furniture, such as drawers or the like, in accordance with the present invention.

Such a crane can be produced, for example, by coupling two metal section parts, between which rolling elements interpose, such as spheres or hinged rolls or wheels, placed in two elements similar to separate cages that facilitate the sliding of the two parts.

Such a grid comprises a first fixed part 12 of the grid, limited to a piece of furniture, schematized in 14, and a second mobile part 13 of the grid, limited to a drawer, schematized in 15.

In addition, a sliding element similar to a cage 16 is provided, interposed between the two parts, fixed 12 and mobile 13, of the metal crane, produced in two pairs and placed in opposite parts of the drawer 15 on its long sides. Said sliding element similar to a cage 16 is double, made for example of plastic material, and is conceived to facilitate the sliding and redproco transfer of the movable part 13 in the other fixed part 12 of each lateral grna.

In the example shown, the fixed part 12 of the rail consists of a U-shaped section, of which a vertical side is limited to the furniture 14 by a series of holes 17 in which similar screws or fasteners (not are shown) are placed. The other vertical side of the U-shaped section is shorter and bends outward on a longitudinal edge 18.

The rolling elements 19, which are part of the sliding element similar to a cage 16 made of plastic material, slide on said folded longitudinal edge 18.

The mobile part 13 of the crane is composed of a square section, of which one of the lower horizontal sides 30 is interrupted by a longitudinal groove 20 in which the shortest side of the U-shaped section of the crane Fixed 12 is inserted, along with the longitudinal edge folded out. This mobile part 13 of the grid has, at one of its ends, placed inside an enlarged seat 21, a molded rear stop 22, for example metal, which forms a terminal stop with the maximum opening of the drawer 15 with respect to the furniture 14 .

In addition, a shock absorber 23 is inserted into the enlarged seat 21 of the movable part 13, near the rear stop with the maximum opening 22, located inside. Said shock absorber 23 is made, for example, of plastic material and is designed to act on a rear stop 24 of the sliding element similar to a cage 16.

Said damper 23 interposed thus is able to avoid the noise created by the drawer 15 when it reaches the end stop during the opening phase.

In the example, the shock absorber 23 comprises a central body 25 from which a hook end 26 protrudes, which contacts a skirt 27 protruding upward from said enlarged seat 21 near the rear stop 22. A leg 28 with an enlarged end 29 also extends radially from the central body 25 of the damper 23. The enlarged end 29 of the leg 28 contacts below an upper horizontal side 31 of the square section of the movable part 13 of the crane, to provide a placement stable shock absorber 23.

Figures 7 to 9 show how this stable placement of the shock absorber 23 is obtained in the enlarged seat 21 near the rear stop 22 of the movable part 13 of the crane.

The shock absorber 23 is in fact inserted under pressure in the enlarged seat 21 whereby its hook end 26 contacts the skirt 27 protruding upward from the enlarged seat 21 of the movable part 13 of the crane. The enlarged end 29 of the leg 28, which extends radially from the central body 25 of said shock absorber 23, contacts contemporaneously under the upper horizontal side 31 of the square section of the mobile part from gma 13.

Finally, it should be noted that an additional second leg 32, which protrudes freely in front of the damper 23 towards the inside of the square section of the movable part 13 of the gma, extends radially from the central body 25 of the damper 23.

This second leg 32 is tapered with respect to the remaining body partly in front of said stop 24 of the sliding element similar to a cage 16. In this way, the second leg 32 is yielding and one of its enlarged ends 33 acts almost like bumpers. This enlarged end 33 of the second leg 32 of the shock absorber 23 does in fact contact the rear stop 24 of the sliding element similar to a cage 16.

In this way, when the drawer 15 is about to be completely removed and, in the state of the art, a noise is made when it contacts the end stop, the present invention ensures that this does not occur.

The shock absorber 23, in fact, transported by the movable part 13 of the gma, contacts against the rear stop 24 of the sliding element similar to a cage 16, avoiding any type of noise and also softening the contact. This damper 23 inserted between these two elements is thus capable of attenuating or even canceling the noise. The shock absorber 23 is therefore in the form of a plastic "spring", which allows the gma stop to be damped at the end stop, in the opening phase. Said shock absorber 23, for example, is an extended plastic spring that is compressed.

In the practice of common gmas for drawers, this plastic shock absorber has an extension of approximately 2-3 mm, eliminating the noise made by the sliding element similar to a cage 16 (nested element) when it hits the rear stop (also nested element ). The operation of a gma according to the present invention is clear from what has been illustrated above in reference to the structure of the gma itself.

Very briefly, the damped opening range for sliding parts of furniture, such as drawers or the like, of the present invention, thanks to its new and original provision, allows the speed of the drawer that is opened to be damped, a moment before its full opening This avoids any blow or impact between the parts, which currently occurs in the opening phase.

The devices that collaborate with the closing of the drawer and also the devices capable of cushioning the closing of the drawer can obviously be combined with this new invention.

Thus, it can be seen how, according to the present invention, a new provision in a GMA has been created, consisting of a fixed part and a mobile part, which allows the drawer to open without any blow, noise or impact that is currently occurring .

The objective mentioned in the preamble has therefore been achieved.

The shapes of the structure for producing a damped gma activate the invention, as well as the materials and assembly modes may naturally differ from those shown for purely non-limiting purposes in the drawings.

The scope of protection of the present invention is therefore defined by the appended claims.

Claims (8)

1. A damped opening gma for sliding parts of furniture, such as drawers or the like, comprising a fixed part (12) of the gma, limited to a piece of furniture (14) and a movable part (13) of the gma, limited to a drawer (15), said fixed part (12) of the gma and said mobile part (13) of the gma being produced as two couples placeable in opposite sliding parts of the drawer (15), a sliding element similar to a cage (16 ) interposed between each fixed part (12) and each mobile part (13), wherein said mobile part (13) of the gma provides a molded rear stop (22) forming a terminal stop with the maximum opening of the drawer (15 ) with respect to the furniture (14) in which near said molded rear stop (22) the gma provides a cushion (23) which is yielding, it is placed in said movable part (13) of the gma and, when the drawer is opens, acts on a rear stop (24) of said sliding element similar to a cage (16), in which said shock absorber (23) is inserted and n a seat (21) produced near said molded rear stop (22) provided on the movable part of the gma (13), characterized in that said shock absorber (23) comprises a central body (25) from which a hook end (26) extends, which contacts a skirt (27) protruding upward from said seat (21) formed near said molded rear stop (22) of the drawer (15). 2. The gma according to claim 1, characterized in that said shock absorber (23) is made of plastic material. 3. The gma according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that said shock absorber (23) is a spring. 4. The gma according to claim 1, characterized in that said shock absorber (23) is inserted under pressure in said seat (21). 5. The gma according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said shock absorber (23) has a tapered part (32) oriented towards said rear stop (24) of said sliding element similar to a cage (16) for give. 6. The gma according to claim 1, characterized in that said central body (25) of the shock absorber (23) extends on a tapered leg (32) that protrudes freely in front of the shock absorber (23) into the mobile part (13) of the gma. 7. The gma according to claim 1 or 6, characterized in that an enlarged end (29) of an additional leg (28) contacts below an upper horizontal side (31) of said movable part (13) of the gma . The gma according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said movable part (13) of the gma is a square shaped section, while said fixed part (12) of the gma is a shaped section U, of which one vertical side is limited to the furniture (14) while another vertical side of the U-shaped section is shorter and folds on a longitudinal edge (18), rolling elements (19) of said sliding element similar to a cage (16) sliding on said folded longitudinal edge (18).
