Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a fuel cell.
In a fuel cell, a solid polymer electrolyte membrane is sandwiched between an anode electrode and a cathode electrode to form a membrane electrode structure, and a pair of separators are arranged on both sides of the membrane electrode structure to form a flat unit fuel. A battery (hereinafter referred to as “unit cell”) is configured, and a plurality of unit cells are stacked to form a fuel cell stack.
In this fuel cell, hydrogen gas (anode gas) is supplied as a fuel gas to a fuel gas flow path formed between the anode electrode and the anode side separator, and formed between the cathode electrode and the cathode side separator. Air (cathode gas) is supplied as an oxidizing gas to the oxidizing gas channel. As a result, hydrogen ions generated by the catalytic reaction at the anode electrode permeate the solid polymer electrolyte membrane and move to the cathode electrode, and the cathode electrode causes an electrochemical reaction with oxygen in the air to generate power.
Here, there are cases where it is detected by measuring the voltage of the cell whether or not each cell operates normally or whether there is an abnormality in the electromotive force. In such a case, each separator is provided with a voltage measurement terminal, and the voltage measurement terminal and the voltage monitoring unit (voltage measurement device) are connected via a lead wire so that the generated voltage of the cell sandwiched between the separators can be reduced. It can be measured (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
By the way, when the hydrogen gas is deficient, such as when the fuel cell is started up, cell reversal of the cell occurs, and the output performance of the entire fuel cell may be reduced by this cell. For this reason, it is considered to provide a bypass path by connecting a diode to each separator.
Since the bypass diode generates heat, it needs to be cooled. For example, the space occupied by the heat sink is increased, and the weight increases. In addition, when the bypass diode is arranged, there is a possibility that the arrangement space is restricted together with the voltage measurement terminal, and the voltage monitoring unit receives electrical noise, and the measurement accuracy of the voltage monitoring unit may be lowered.
However, in the above-described prior art, there is no disclosure about the arrangement of the bypass diode, and if the bypass diode is arranged, the space efficiency of the fuel cell is deteriorated and the measurement accuracy of the voltage monitoring unit may be lowered. There is a problem that there is.
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above-described circumstances, and can efficiently arrange diodes to prevent deterioration of space efficiency and improve the measurement accuracy of the voltage monitoring unit. A fuel cell that can be used is provided.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the voltage monitoring unit and the diode unit do not interfere with each other, and the voltage monitoring unit is hardly affected by electrical noise. For this reason, it is possible to prevent deterioration of the space efficiency of the fuel cell and improve the measurement accuracy of the voltage monitoring unit.

Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

Here, as shown in FIG. 2, the

Under such a configuration, there is a
