Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a structure by providing a slide plate to which a light ray reflecting mirror is attached to an opening of a window hole formed at a predetermined part, storing the state of a recording medium contained in a cassette by moving the plate, or preventing erroneous erasure of the recorded content. CONSTITUTION:A window hole 12 of the front or rear surface of a cassette, or a predetermined part of a side periphery thereof, a movable slide plate 10 is provided in the opening of the hole 12, and a light ray reflecting mirror 11 is attached to the plate 10. The plate 10 is moved to reflect or absorb external light rays by the mirror 11 to store the state of a recording medium contained in a cassette 1, or to prevent erroneous erasure of the recorded content. Thus, the state of storage of the type of the medium contained in the cassette 1, holding of the storage or erasure can be detected by a simple mechanism.

As shown in FIGS. 4 to 7, a window hole 12 is formed on the circumferential surface of the cassette, and a claw 13 for preventing accidental erasure is formed in the window hole 12 as shown in FIGS.
A protruding claw is provided, and when this claw is present, the detection mechanism 16 on the tape recorder side detects this and performs recording (FIG. 5). Furthermore, if a signal is recorded on the magnetic tape and you do not want to erase it, the detection lever 17 of the detection mechanism 16 on the tape recorder enters the window hole 12 opened by breaking this claw 13 and detects this. , it is configured so that the erase and record operations do not occur even if the record button is pressed (
Figure 6). In addition, as a storage mechanism for the type of tape, a window hole is provided next to or further away from the above-mentioned accidental erasure prevention claw, so that when the cassette is inserted, the window hole is opened as in the case of accidental erasure prevention. It is configured so that it detects whether it is closed or open, determines the type of magnetic tape contained, and switches the bias and equalizer.

■After the nail is broken off, it will no longer be possible to record on the storage hardness tape again, so when using it for recording again, use the window opened by breaking off the nail as shown in Figure 7. An adhesive tape 19 was pasted to the opening of the hole 12 to close the window 12 and prevent the detection lever 17 on the Cheap Record side from entering, thereby allowing recording to be performed. However, during recording, the detection lever 17 is pressed against the closed adhesive tape by the required detection pressure, so the adhesive tape may be damaged by repeating recording several times, and the adhesive tape must be replaced each time. In addition to being time-consuming, the adhesive tape may break during recording, causing the detection lever to enter the window hole, resulting in interruption of recording, or the broken adhesive tape may enter the tape recorder mechanism, interfering with normal operation. There is a risk that this may occur.

This invention has been made to solve such problems, and it detects the storage of the type of recording medium contained in a cassette and the state of storage retention or erasure using a simple mechanism provided in the cassette. It is an object of the present invention to provide a cassette that can be detected by simple means without providing a mechanical detection mechanism on the side.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve the above object, the cassette of the present invention has a window hole formed in a required portion of the front surface or back surface of the cassette, or a side peripheral surface, and a window hole is formed in the opening of the window hole. A movable slide plate is provided, a light reflecting mirror is attached on the slide plate, and by moving the slide plate, light rays from the outside are reflected or absorbed by the reflecting mirror,
storing the state of the recording medium accommodated in the cassette;
Alternatively, it has a configuration that prevents erroneous erasure of recorded contents.

[Function] According to the present invention, by creating a state in which light from the outside is reflected by a reflecting mirror and a state in which it is not reflected, the state of the stored recording medium is memorized or the recorded contents are prevented from being erased accidentally. This is what I did.

[Example] Figures 1, 2, and 3 show an example of the present invention, with Figure 1 being an overall view of a tape cassette showing the features of the present invention, and Figures 2 and 3 showing an example of the present invention. 1 is a partially enlarged explanatory diagram that best represents the features of the present invention.

In FIG. 2, the window hole 12 is closed by a slide plate 10 having a light reflecting mirror 11. As shown in FIG. Here, the light emitted from the light emitting element 20 of the accidental erasure prevention detection device on the tape recorder side is reflected by the light reflecting mirror 11 and returns to the light receiving element 21, so the tape recorder side determines that recording is possible. Recording is performed when the record button is pressed.

In FIG. 3, the slide plate 10 is moved in the direction of arrow A, and the light reflecting mirror 11 is also moved to the cassette l.
Since the light emitted from the light emitting element 20 does not return to the light receiving element 21, the tape recorder determines that recording is impossible, and even if the record button is pressed, erasing and recording cannot be performed. No action is taken.

Further, contrary to the above criteria, it is also possible to make the state shown in FIG. 2 unrecordable and the state shown in FIG. 3 recordable.

It goes without saying that the memory retention mechanism described above is not limited to the detection of the accidental erasure prevention mechanism, but can also be applied to detection for determining the type of cassette containing different types of recording media.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, the present invention provides a slide plate with a light reflecting mirror attached to the opening of the window hole formed in a required part of the cassette, and by moving the slide plate, the light beam can be accommodated in the cassette. Detects on the operating mechanism side that the state of the recording medium is to be memorized or to prevent the recorded contents from being erased accidentally,
Since the configuration was configured so that the control corresponding to each state is performed,
There is no need to break the nails or apply adhesive tape depending on the state of the recording medium as in the past, and it is also extremely easy to change the storage state, and the detection mechanism in that state is also mechanical. Since no elements are required and optical detection can be performed reliably, the structure can be simple and compact.
