Abstract

FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposure of both eyes to same visible wavelength blinking light (400-700 nm) with the value of intensity of illumination 5-100 lx and blinking frequency from 0.06 Hz to 1 Hz. The device has a pair of spectacles with light-insulated oculars. Each ocular is provided with a light-diffusing reflector. A source of light is mounted in the reflector, and a replaceable light filter is mounted opposite of the source of light. The device is provided with a regulator of blinking rate, a regulator of light intensity, a switch for lighting of one or the other eye, and a source of power. EFFECT: shorter treatment time.

Claims (1)

The invention relates to medicine and can be used to improve the visual functions of the patient. The goal is to reduce the treatment time by a more physiological effect on the visual analyzer. The essence of the invention is the impact on both eyes with light radiation of the same wavelength lying in the visible region of the spectrum (400 - 700 nm) with illumination from 5 to 100 lux, while one or both eyes is exposed to flashing light radiation with a blinking frequency from 0.06 to 1 Hz A device for implementing the method comprises glasses with light-insulated eyepieces, each of which has a light-diffusing reflector, inside of which a light source is fixed and installed in front of it with the possibility of replacing a light filter. At the same time, the device has a regulator of the frequency of flashing light radiation, a regulator of brightness of light radiation, a switch that provides a given light effect on each gas, and a power supply.
