Description
Method for fitting, searching and ordering clothes remotely Technical field The present invention pertains to the field of digital information, namely image processing, for virtually fitting clothes to be purchased, also for creating the capability of placing orders remotely. The main problem with clothing e-commerce is that it has low buyer confidence, which is due to the high probability that the clothes will not fit the customer. Even if a very accurate and uniform global standard for clothing sizes is achieved, there is still a problem related to the characteristics and individuality of consumers' body image, and in this regard, without using the special approach that the present invention provides, there is no possibility of solving the problem. The present invention relates generally to the field of data and image processing. Specifically, present invention relates to a system and method for implementing a virtual fitting room that provides a real analysis of how the garment will fit the user and a realistic visual representation of the fit of the garment on the body. Background of the invention In the given field of technology, a method is known that ensures remote ordering of clothing by the user, according to the user's body sizes, which takes into account the acquisition of the image of the user's body, construction of a three-dimensional model of the user's body, which is used to obtain sizes for further tailoring and fitting of clothes /Eurasian patent ЕА 200970864/. Thus, the tailoring measurements obtained in the manner described above are used to sew the garment according to the actual anatomical characteristics of the user's body. An Internet technology for remote selection of ready-made clothes by the user is also known, based on the user's own anatomical parameters, that is also based on the
comparison of three-dimensional models of clothes with the three-dimensional model of the user's body / US patent application US 2011298897/. To improve support for remote orders, clothing selection and fitting, it is proposed to create a database in the form of an electronic library of variable three-dimensional consumer patterns / PCT application – WO 201401108/. It is also proposed to create a three-dimensional model of clothing and compare it with a three-dimensional model of the user's body, that has a capability of stretching, bending, etc., which provides a more realistic better fit than the virtual model and improves the appearance of the product / US patent - US 7149665 B2/. In order to simplify the identification of clothes and speed up the fitting process, QR machine identification codes are used /US patent - US 9799064 B2/. The implementation of various embodiments of the invention requires the use of a process system involving all participants (manufacturers, sellers, consumers), which requires the processing of several orders of magnitude more information, the use of servers and other technical means, and the sharing of users' personal data on the Internet, which is against the principles of human rights protection. Summary of the invention The objective of this invention is to provide the most accurate and simple way to fit clothes existing in the electronic and retail markets, regardless of the different size standards used by countries or manufacturers around the world, without the need for a 3D scanner or additional special equipment; also, to find and compare the assumptions for size more acceptable for users and, if desired, to carry out remote orders not only according to the body sizes of a specific buyer, but also by providing the capability of optionally entering the values of the assumption fields only from the user's electronic device (for example, a mobile phone, laptop, tablet, etc.). None of the above technical solutions can cope with this task. The objective is achieved by using a simplified method to provide remote fitting, clothing selection and/or remote ordering, based on the organization and support of at least one website or application on at least one web server, as well as by an application for mobile technical devices such as mobile phone, laptop, tablet and the like, by providing the creation
and storage of the user's personal geometric data, also by a data coding and decoding system, such as QR, to ensure a quick response for comparison both online and in market stores, thus to avoid problems related to hygiene and clothing damage when fitting them in traditional fitting rooms. For remote fitting, clothing selection or remote ordering, the interaction of electronic devices of the buyer's, e-commerce operator and/or manufacturer is provided, that contain minimal and sufficient information about the clothes for sale (several basic sizes: height, bust, waist, hips in units of length, color, stretch coefficient , and at least one large-scale photograph of the average product, other than the size they follow as standard), in the format of existing resources of the user's device, which contains pre-entered personal data and is stored only in the user's device. Dimensions that are not specified in the buyer's application are generated by comparing the proportions of the images (at least two photos) with their natural dimensions. These data will be compared with the actual measurements entered by the manufacturer and/or seller using the proposed e-commerce/commerce platform adapted to any user's applications and their open resources designed for the user. The user's personal data remains in his/her database and is not accessible to other network and trading participants. Clothing fittings are performed by reading the seller's or manufacturer's open resources. In this way, there is no need to create three-dimensional models, special three-dimensional templates, as is suggested by the prior art, and personal data is not stored on the servers of sellers. At the same time, there is no need to modify the resources of manufacturers and sellers, which is necessarily associated with the prior art solutions. Brief description of the drawings The proposed method for remotely fitting, searching and/or ordering clothing based on user generated data is explained based on the following figures: Fig. 1 - diagram of devices, applications and networks that provide remote fitting of clothing; Fig.2 - the principle of entering the manufacturer's or seller's data;
Fig. 3 - the principle of entering the buyer's body image into the computer or mobile device application; Fig.4 - the principle of entering the buyer's body parameters in the natural dimensions; Fig.5 - the principle of entering the size ratio coefficient; Fig.6 - method of remote fitting by a computer; Fig.7 - determination of sizes in any section of clothing; Fig.8 - view of the product in the waist section; Fig.9 - the method of searching and/or ordering clothes according to the user's given size by means of a personal computer; Fig.10 - a method of providing remote fitting through a mobile application; Fig. 11 - the method of searching and/or ordering clothes according to the given size of the user through the mobile application; Fig. 12 - Method of remote fitting in retail networks through mobile application and QR codes attached to the product. Detailed description of the invention Reffering to fig.1 an implementation of the proposed method for providing remote fitting, clothing search and/or ordering them based on user-generated data is shown, wherein at least one website or application for at least one existing website of an e-commerce or retail participant is provided, with an electronic fitting room (for clothing manufacturers and sellers) running on a computer 1 and in their application 2, as well as application 3 and 4 for the user's computer 5 and applications 3, 4, and 6 for the user's portable devices 7, through which users can remotely fit clothes, or place orders for the necessary items, taking into account the possibility of placing the orders not only according to the body dimensions of a specific buyer, but also of entering the values of the assumption fields, optionally with certain deviations from the body or with absolutely free size tasks, where all participants are connected to each other through the Internet 8.
The technical effect of the proposed invention is simplicity and convenience for manufacturers, sellers, using e-commerce/trade and retail platforms with an electronic fitting room, which is achieved by applications 2 running on computers 1, and thereby providing the conversion of the original two-dimensional (2D) or three-dimensional (3D) data of the finished product by comparison with several basic sizes (height, chest circumference, waist circumference, hip circumference), which are entered directly after simple measurement of finished products. The program determines for each specific case the regularity of 2D linear measurements or 3D measurements with natural ones, comparing their proportional relationship. Based on these natural baseline measurements in units of length, any missing sizes are generated based on the same proportions of mathematical calculation that normally associates the actual measurements to the proportions of the entered 2D scale image of average samples of specific clothing models for sale. Participants who provide customer service for purchasing clothing shall enter the additional information described below in addition to and/or instead of the applicable standard information. According to fig.2, along with visual images of the product 9 offered for sale, medium-sized flat-scale photographs from the general product list 10 and 11 in Table 12 are included, which describe the direct sizes obtained by natural measurement of the proposed product. Data is coded for fast machine identification, for example, in the form of QR coding systems 13 . A list of the mandatory sizes of a specific product and the stretch factor (k), (when the product has this feature), to ensure the possibility of virtual fitting of the buyer's application, is shown in Table 12. Access to this information/resource should be open. The color of the material and other data characteristic of the product and properties are additionally presented at the discretion of the manufacturer and seller. All sizes not specified, for example, X and XI, are defined as the dependence and regularity of the ratio of any size on a large-scale, graphic image 10, with the corresponding natural sizes in Table 12. The data are correlated with a simple mathematical proportional relationship. For example, in scaled photos 10 and 11, any size determined by measurement in units of length XI is in such a ratio to the unpresented size X in the table, as determined in the photo WaistI, which is already indicated in the table Waist. From this equation and relationship, any unspecified dimension
X is determined in the same area of the scaled image as is measured and defined by dimension XI. On the user's computer 5 and/or portable devices 7 (Fig. 1), using the corresponding applications 3, 4 and 6, in accordance with the instructions of the corresponding application of the database of the his/her own device, a simplified input method is provided to load the personal data of the body. For this, it is necessary to take at least two photos 14, 15 and at most three photos 14, 15 and 16 from a fixed distance L (the optimal distance is about 3 meters) (Fig. 3). After entering these data, the application requires from the user to enter the data (Fig.4), with the natural measurements of the buyer's body 17, in the length units selected in the menu 18, which are considered the basic data of the method at issue. The set of the proposed data, most of which are already present in practical methods, ensures for the method at issue a faultless remote fitting, as well as clothing search and/or placing an order based on user-generated data. One of the features of this method is that it provides a combination of flat and volumetric measurements in the required two-dimensional or three- dimensional mathematical model, which allows the necessary remote fitting that accurately characterize the peculiarities of the user's body. For this, a linear transformation of all sizes is used, which correlates natural flat measurements, scaled measurements in proportional ratios, and measurement of circles of a consumer and a manufacturer using a mathematical equation in which the ratio coefficient is represented (Fig. 5). In the given formula 19, the following values are used: (a) (waist width in user image photo, (b) (waist depth in user photo), ^ (ratio factor) and c (circumference obtained by natural measurement). From the mentioned ratio, the unknown ^ (ratio coefficient) is determined through equation 20. In the same way, the data of any measurements of other parts of the body are used in the corresponding sections. The tables show the basic dimensions. Absolutely all other unspecified dimensions are generated by the cursor that is activated in the corresponding section or by touching the sensitive screens of the device. A remote buyer who is using a personal computer (PC) 1 (Fig. 1), through the Internet network 8, searches for a desirable product within the data of the operators of electronic retailers. When choosing the appropriate product, the fitting is performed by activating the QR code 13 (fig.2). At the same time, the pre-installed application 2 will be activated on the user's computer (fig. 1). As soon as the application is launched, it will open the
selected product (fig. 3). At this point, the QR code 13 is copied into the buyer's 21 table as a QR code 22 (Fig.6). The application sets the personal data of the buyer in the column (Yoursize) and in the image 23, the difference of the ratios is generated, which are shown in the column Gap 24 in table 21. At the intersection of the row Shoulder and the column Gap, a negative value of minus (-4) means that the shoulder of the product is 4 cm less in relation to the buyer's size, i.e. on right and left sides, each side of the product is inserted two centimeters inward from the width of the user's shoulders. For a given model, this is the product style. The negative value minus (- 2.5) in the chest area is additionally explained by the designation LOA - (Limits of acceptable) and means that the length of the circumference of the product is 2.5 centimeters less than the corresponding circumference of the buyer. However, due to the material's stretch factor of 7.62 (the allowable elongation of the fabric/material of the product per linear meter), it falls within the acceptable range for long-term wearing. When the inscription OOL - (Out of Limit) appears, it indicates that this product is beyond the limits of durability assumptions and is not guaranteed to wear without damage to clothing. A zero value at the intersection of the row Hips with the column Gap means an exact match in size, and a positive value, plus (+4.5) at the intersection of Waist and Gap, means that the length of the fabric at the waist circumference is 4.5 centimeters larger than the buyer's circumference, i.e. 1.125cm double size equivalent on each side of the waist (fig. 7 The circumference of the waist 25 and the outline of the product 26 look exactly as they would appear if the excess material is pulled through the edges of the waist with the fingers. To determine the fit of the garment on any desired area of the body, for example by moving the cursor 27 (Fig. 8), a size of the circumference of the garment 28 in that area is generated, which in this particular case is 98 cm. At the same time, there is a difference between the sizes of the body and the clothes in the same section, which in this case is equal to +1 cm, which is generated, for example, in the form of image 29. The regularity of the dimensions of the clothing shapes provided by the manufacturer will be accurately shown in the actual measurements and at the same time it will be displayed on the device monitor using mathematical transformations.
Remote search of clothes or placing order based on the free sizes generated by the customer's desire, in the column YourDesiredsize30 (fig. 9), will be activated in the mode Search 31 or Order 32 as soon as at least one desired size of the customer is entered. Switching to the desired search or order mode is activated by activating/pressing the corresponding request. If the buyer does not yet have this application on his device, after activating the QR code 13 (Fig.2) for clothing selection and fitting, the buyer will be offered links from official sites to install the corresponding application. In exactly the same way, remote fitting is carried out using the user's portable devices 7 and applications 3, 4 and 6 corresponding to the device platform (fig. 1). When choosing the appropriate product, the fitting is also performed by activating the QR code 13 (Fig. 2). At the same time, the corresponding application 3, or 4, or 6, which is pre-installed, will be activated on the device. Upon launching the application, the selected product will open on the corresponding page already in the form of image 33 (Fig.10). The QR code 13 (image 2) will be copied into the user table 34 as the QR code 35 (fig.10). The application will generate column (Yoursize) buyer's personal data from table 34 in image 33 and the difference in ratios will be reflected in the Gap section. At the intersection of the Shoulder row and the Gap column, a negative value of minus (-4) means that the shoulder of the product is 4 cm less in relation to the size of the buyer, i.e. Right and left, each side of the product is inserted two centimeters inward from the width of the user's shoulders. For a given model, this is the product style. The negative value minus (- 2.5) in the chest area is additionally explained by the LOA (Limits of acceptable) and means that the length of the circumference of the product is 2.5 centimeters less than the corresponding circumference of the buyer. However, since the given material has a stretch coefficient of 7.62 (the allowable elongation of the fabric/material of the product per length meter), it is within the acceptable range for long-term wearing. The appearance of the inscription OOL - (Out of limit) indicates that the given product is outside the scope of material strength assumptions and there is no guarantee of operation without damage to clothing. A zero value at the intersection of the row Hips with the column Gap means an exact match in size, and a positive value, plus (+4.5) at the intersection of Waist and Gap, means that the length of the fabric at the waist circumference is 4.5 centimeters larger than the buyer's
circumference, i.e. 1.125 cm double size equivalent on each side of the waist (fig. 7). The circumference in the waist 25 section and the contour of the product 26 look exactly as they would appear if the excess material is pulled through the edges of the waist with the fingers. A remote search of clothing and/or placing an order based on customer’s data is optionally generated in the YourDesiredsize column 36 (Fig.10) and will trigger Search 37 or Order 38 (Fig. 11) as soon as even one desired size of the user is entered. Switching to the desired search or ordering mode is activated by pressing/activating the corresponding request. To determine the fit of clothes on any desired area of the body, for example, by moving the cursor 39 (Fig.11), the size of the clothes in this area is generated, which in this particular case is 98 cm. At the same time, in the same section 27 there is a difference in the dimensions of the body and clothes, which in this case is equal to +1 cm and is generated, for example, in the form of image 40 (Fig.11). As in the case of using a personal computer, if the buyer does not have this application on the device, when choosing clothes to fit and activating the seller's QR code, the buyer will be offered a link from the official sites to be able to install the application suitable to his/her device. In retail, virtual fitting of clothes in an electronic fitting room is carried out by means of a mobile or portable device 41 by reading the QR code 42 attached to the clothes 43 (fig.12), which will automatically launch the corresponding application in the format of a remote electronic fitting room (Fig.10). The discussed method of remotely fitting, searching and/or ordering clothing based on user generated data is also valid for overalls, hats, gloves, shoes, etc. given the specifics of these types of clothing.
