I have created a prototype for a viewer that also supports GLB files in the ‘mediawiki’ style. Only simple GLB files and KTX2 compression are supported. I am not yet satisfied with the positioning of the models, especially in view of the thumbnails. Help and feedback are very welcome.

You did a great job implementing this feature. Three points:
- Unfortunately, it's undiscoverable: T378288: In Wikidata, "intitle:" searches should point the user to "inlabel:" search. To figure out its existence, I had to create a Phab task, then have a kind person point me to it.
- The fact that matches are not bolded is poor UI/UX.

Thanks for the note! The follow up work here is to add an indicator about the number of the image in the top right ( T77877#10203938 ) I haven't created that ticket yet though. When we do that we can also add classes to the media viewer so that editors who want to opt out can disable the behaviour using their local CSS. I'll create this next week if nobody beats me to it.
