Effective Monday, March 16, 2020 the Law Department offices will be closed to the general public due to the City of Pittsburgh COVID-19 Response Protocols.

The Claims Division of the City of Pittsburgh’s Law Department will not have regular staffing available during this closure. Claims currently being processed as well as any claims that are received via the United States Postal Service or via fax during this public health crisis will be delayed in acknowledgment, processing, and finalization due to the reduction in necessary staff working on-site until this public health situation has subsided. We therefore request that if you have access to the internet and a printer, that you obtain your claims packet materials from the City’s website.

Claim Forms are available online on the City’s website at: https://pittsburghpa.gov/law/file-claim

Completed claim forms and required supporting documentation may be mailed to the following address:

CITY OF PITTSBURGH
DEPARTMENT OF LAW, CLAIMS DIVISION
313 CITY-COUNTY BUILDING
414 GRANT STREET
PITTSBURGH, PA 15219

You may also fax the information to: 412-255-2285 (ATTN: CLAIMS)
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this time.
