In Greek meethologie, Medea (Greek: Μήδεια, Mēdeia, Georgie: მედეა) wis the dauchter o Keeng Aeëtes o Colchis,[1] niece o Circe, granddauchter o the sun god Helios, an later wife tae the hero Jason. In Euripides' play Medea, Jason abandons Medea when Creon, king o Corinth, offers his dauchter Glauce.[2] The play tells o Medea avengin her husband's betrayal bi killin thair bairns.
