Charles T. Royer (August 22, 1939 – July 26, 2024)[1] was the 48th mayor of Seattle, Washington from 1978 to 1990.[2] After he was the mayor of Seattle, Royer became the director of the Harvard Institute of Politics.
Royer died at his home in Gearhart, Oregon, on July 26, 2024, at the age of 84.[3][4]
