The flag of Community of Madrid (Spanish: Bandera de la Comunidad de Madrid) is colored red and seven white stars in the center. The emblem has a diameter of three-quarters the width of the center. The ratio of the flag is 2:3.[1] The stars symbolise the north, and since that is the direction on which all others are based, the stars represent Madrid as the seat of government for Spain.[2]
