The reason is personal attacks. 73.170.137.168 (talk) 21:19, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

thanks for telling me, user has been blocked for some time. I also hid the edit with the personal attack. Eptalon (talk) 21:27, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Darién Gap[change source]

Hi, can I ask why you created the article, Darién Gap - which is just a copy of the article at enwiki? Ternera (talk) 18:53, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

We didn't have it yet, and I tried to simplify some language. Also, the EnWp article is much larger. Eptalon (talk) 18:54, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Just to say, I brought down the Flesh-Kincaid score from 44-something ("College level") to 58-something ("High-scool", 10th-12th grade), for the section in both articles. So its not just copying, its also simplifying. As always, I don't own aricles and you are welcome to help, if you want. I know that the EnWP article is a lot bigger, but that can come over in pieces, when needed. Eptalon (talk) 19:19, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Undeletion reqest[change source]

Hi Eptalon, Could you undelete these please? I had asked Fr33kman and he restored one page and then you deleted it lol (I'm assuming no one removed the CSD so it's all good)),

Davey2010Talk 19:57, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

do you want all revisions, or just the most recent one? Eptalon (talk) 20:00, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Sorry all if possible please, Many thanks, warm regards, –Davey2010Talk 20:21, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps revisit your edits on this page with simplified English? The content you added was very complex. I would revert it if it weren't for an established, experienced editor whom I thought would do better. Operator873 connect 19:32, 29 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Currently, the FLesh-Kincaid score is 60.6, which corresponds to 8-9thgrade ("plain English"). Feel free to revert, if you think that should be done. I nevertheless think that my change was better than the (likely-AI-generated) content before. After all the article is up for deletion, might as well delete... Eptalon (talk) 20:17, 29 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And just to clarify, the original (AI-generated?) article has a score of 32.2 ("college level")... Eptalon (talk) 20:39, 29 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Roller printing on fabrics is a textile printing process patented by Thomas Bell of Scotland in 1783 in an attempt to reduce the cost of the earlier copperplate printing. This method was used in Lancashire fabric mills to produce cotton dress fabrics from the 1790s, most often reproducing small monochrome patterns characterized by striped motifs and tiny dotted patterns called "machine grounds". Improvements in the technology resulted in more elaborate roller prints in bright, rich colours from the 1820s; Turkey red and chrome yellow were particularly popular.
